European Specialist in Veterinary Dermatology
I graduated with honours from the University of Turin (Italy) in 1995, and after an internship in Seattle (USA), I did a Residency in Veterinary Dermatology (Skin diseases) at the University of Edinburgh (UK), from 1996 to 1998. I obtained the British Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology and then the Diploma in Veterinary Dermatology from the European College of Veterinary Dermatology. For the past twenty years I worked in referral private practice mostly in the UK, and moved to AQVC approximately 3 years ago.
My special interests within dermatology are allergic skin diseases and cat skin diseases.
It’s a priority for me to approach each patient with a thorough diagnostic plan and consequently, appropriate treatments. I am also passionate about using cytology/biopsy to make specific diagnoses.
I believe in the importance of high standards of veterinary practice and I regularly run workshops and Continuing Education events throughout the Middle East for Vets and Vet Nurses.
I live in Muscat with my family, including our three legged cat Joy.
